About Us...

Julie Argent
Julie has worked and lived in Zambia and seen first hand the need for intervention and care for premature babies and children-at-risk — to give them hope for life.

Julie has worked extensively with children in Australia who have special needs with organisations such as Yooralla and Very Special Kids. She has her Cert IV in Youth and Protective Care, Diploma in Community and Children’s Services; having worked 18 months in Hong Kong’s baby home “Mothers Choice” for experience. She also has an Advanced Dip. in Family Counselling and Therapy, and Cert IV in Disability. Julie has recently completed her midwifery training and now lives in Zambia, volunteering at the local hospital.

The board in Australia is made up of people with experience in Nursing, Social work, Counselling, Administration and Pastoral care including local Zambians living in Australia.

The board in Zambia will oversee the everyday life of running the transitional home along with accountability for Julie.
